Almost as thin as a magazine and lighter than the average paperback book, Amazon's Kindle 2 eReader is finally available to order for Irish Amazon customers.
There has been quite a buzz about e-readers this year and the Amazon Kindle is one of the best around.
The best thing about this device that holds up to 1,500 books is its wireless connectivity: books download in less than sixty seconds over wireless 3G so no need to go looking for a WiFi hotspot, plus you can download newspapers, magazines and blogs. This is all done over Amazon's Whispernet when you visit the Kindle Store and choose your books.
Here in Ireland there are over 300,000 English-language books to choose from; plus U.S. and international newspapers and magazines are available.
