LG's GW300 handset is a social networking machine
11.03.2010

LG slips into the social networking cum power messaging market with this nicely designed and slick looking QWERTY number - the GW300.
Fine, they could have given it a catchier name, but the GW300 looks good and has some nice feature including a five-way navigational pad for easy browsing.
It also has a designated Facebook app for instant and direct access to your messages, status updates and the like.

While not a powerhouse like the average smartphone it does have good solid storage - you can expand the memory by up to 4GB.
Its proprietary LiveSquare user interface gives this handset a homescreen that displays all your favourite contacts as avatars that keep up to date with the latest messages sent by that particular friend.
An FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, 2.4-inch screen and Bluetooth connectivity completes the package.
The LG GW300 retails at €79.99 with Vodafone.
