Exit Games announces online games support for iPad
01.03.2010

Exit Games, provider of online game engines and services, said it will be expanding its platform support by adding Apple iPad compatibility to products Neutron and Photon.
Exit Games will support real-time turned-based features on iPad games
The games company provides services to games developers looking to integrate real-time online features such as turn-by-turn gaming for various platforms including PC, Mac and the iPhone and Android devices.
Neutron is a managed service with a range of turn-key features and Photon is a multiplayer development framework obtainable as licensed software.
"We are very happy to be the first company offering online game engines for the iPad," said Chris Wegmann, CTO of Exit Games.
"The iPad opens a fascinating new product genre and we are sure it provides the same opportunities for developers as the iPhone did and still does. Our products will help developers to take advantage of this new opportunity at lower risk and with a faster time-to-market."
Exit Games products are used by companies Walt Disney, Konami, Vivendi Mobile, World Golf Tour, and E! Entertainment for connected social and community-based games and apps.
