Sony's Vaio F is a high-end power machine
05.02.2010

Distinguishable by its whopping great 16.4-inch Full HD (1,920x1,080) display and quad core processor, Sony's latest Vaio F Series is the Lamborghini of laptops (but not banana yellow, fortunately).
Full HD movie editing
If you're looking for a movie-watching or editing experience, the power and looks are here: Sony says it makes light work of editing Full HD video and RAW image files, plus it has a Blu-ray disc and the anti-glare display has 100pc Adobe RGB coverage for great colours.
Oh, and did I mention that the F Series have the latest Intel Core i7 processors, the Blu-ray player does write as well as read, and there's NVIDIA GeForce GT330M graphics for the gig of DDR3 so gaming should be a pleasure.
Handy extras
The Windows 7 machine also has a built-in light sensor so that the screen automatically adjusts to ambient light levels and has a Display Off button for saving power when you're listening to music or watching your Blu-ray movies through the TV.
The Vaio F is available now in Sony Centres around Ireland.
