Jedward arrive on the iPhone Christmas-'stylee'

The loveable, cheeky X-Factor twins John and Edward Grimes, known as Jedward, have got their own iPhone app just in time for the holiday season - the Jedward Xmas Factor.
Isn't it usually the case that popstars release a Christmas single replete with sleighbells and other fun yuletide sound effects? Well, Simon did say that singing wasn't exactly their strong point so the Dublin twins Jedward are saying it with cards instead.
The Jedward Xmas Factor is basically your very own Jedward-themed e-card app: you can choose from 20 different Christmas themes, add glitter and other festive decorations and email or Facebook to your friends.
This seasonable glittery app was created by the Dublin-based Appsie, the guys behind social networking app Locle, and is €1.59 to download.
"We thought that John and Edward should have their own app, because the iPhone is a great platform to engage with fans. The twins' management company, Walsh Global Management gave the idea the green light," said Appsie representative, Ronan Higgins.
