Logitech reinvents the keyboard for gamers

The peripheral geniuses from Logitech have completely re-imagined the keyboard for serious gamers in the form of the G13 Advanced Gameboard - a hybrid gaming keyboard designed for use with your existing keyboard and mouse.
Why would you want another keyboard, I hear you ask? Well, the Gameboard has three game modes, 25 programmable keys, a programmable analogue stick and a 160x43 pixel GamePanel LCD showing live-game stats, so for those battling it out in World of Warcraft (WOW) or shooting their way through Splinter Cell or Halo II, this combination adds up to 87 ways to control your gameplay.
Aside from this, the unusual design is all down to ergonomics, and is apparently designed to follow the natural curvature of your hand, making those long hours spent in front of the monitor a bit more comfortable (dare you go for the 24-hour stint on WOW now?).
And will it help you trounce your fellow gamers? Apparently so!

"So whether you're getting into WOW, or walking into your next LAN party, the G13 gameboard gives you a powerful advantage over those forced to work with less," said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech's director of product marketing for gaming.

The G13 Advanced Gameboard retails at a RRP of £74.99 sterling, which is about €85.
